The Integral Yoga® Center of Richmond offers classes
and workshops in postures, meditation, breathing, nutrition,
stress reduction, Raja Yoga: yoga philosophy and other topics.
Classes and Workshops are held mainly at its headquarters, located
at the Center of Integrative Medicine (since June 2007) at 3536
Grove Ave (corner of Thompson, entrance thru the parking lot
in the back), and in other locations sponsored by many organizations,
including local yoga studios, (See schedule)

Integral Yoga® is the hatha yoga system utilized by Dr.
Dean Ornish, MD, in his program for reversing heart disease.
Today there are over 40 Integral Yoga Centers and Integral
Yoga Centers throughout the United States and Internationally.
Integral Yoga International is headquartered in Buckingham,
Virginia where retreats, classes and seminars held regularly
and guests are always welcome. People of all faiths and backgrounds
have come together to to study and practice the principles of
Integral Yoga under the guidance of it's founder, Sri
Swami Satchidananda. |
